Article Title:  Land of Confusion

Author's Purpose:  Talks about how this world is becoming a more horrible place.  That everyone always steps in this "Land of Confusion."

Did the author accomplish his purpose:  Yes, by explaining this through song.

I agree with:  The singer is trying to stop this war and bring peace to everything.

I disagree with:  That it probably won't happen, but it don't mean the world shouldn't try.

I don't understand:  Why does the world fight.

Text-to-self:  The song is what I relate to, because I have been through the thought about world peace, I believe in that strongly.

How to be an active participant in learning:  By reading more and more everyday.

How to take responsibility:  By understanding what I read, and the songs I listen to, basically being alert of what I read.
